ELVARYXA / BRAND & TRUST

Review Methodology.Clear about the evidence.

Our review standards explain the basis of an assessment, the factors considered and the limitations readers should understand.

Last updated:

01 / TYPES OF ASSESSMENT

A clear approach.
An honest description.

This methodology sets publishing standards for ELVARYXA’s reviews, comparisons and product guides on elvaryxa.com and blog.elvaryxa.com. Each article should make its assessment type clear.

Hands-on reviews

A hands-on review must be based on actual use. It should describe the tasks performed and relevant conditions, such as the device, software version, subscription plan or time spent using the product. Its conclusions must stay within that experience.

Research-based comparisons

A researched comparison draws on published evidence, such as official documentation, specifications and pricing. The article should identify this basis and attribute third-party findings. Reading about a product must not be presented as personally testing it.

Product overviews & guides

An overview explains a product, category or buying decision using the evidence available. Its title and wording should accurately reflect that purpose. Specifications, supplier statements and editorial interpretation should remain distinguishable.

02 / ASSESSMENT CRITERIA

Practical questions.
Relevant criteria.

Criteria depend on the product and its intended use. An AI tool, a physical product and a learning resource require different considerations.

Usefulness & features

Assess the problem the product addresses, its relevant capabilities and important trade-offs. Software coverage may consider task suitability and plan limits; physical products may require attention to materials, fit and intended function.

Usability & compatibility

Consider the experience relevant to the reader, including setup, platform compatibility, accessibility and ease of use where supported by the assessment. Learning resources may also require attention to age suitability and content clarity.

Price & overall value

State the relevant currency, region, plan and date when quoting prices. Explain important conditions such as renewals, feature restrictions or promotional periods. A conclusion about value should relate to a stated need and budget.

03 / EVIDENCE & LIMITATIONS

Show the basis.
Explain the limits.

An assessment should give readers enough context to understand how its conclusions were reached.

Sources & supporting material

Link to relevant official information and distinguish manufacturer claims from verified findings. Original screenshots, observations or measurements should be included where they support an assessment. Reported results must identify their source.

Conditions & limitations

State important gaps, unavailable features and limits to the assessment. Where measurements are reported, describe their basis. Results may depend on devices, software versions, plans and conditions; a short assessment cannot establish every aspect of long-term performance.

AI assistance & responsibility

AI may assist with organising research or drafting explanations. A responsible person must review the evidence and claims before publication. AI-generated answers are not proof of product performance, personal experience or completed testing.

04 / DISCLOSURES & UPDATES

Clear relationships.
Considered conclusions.

Readers should understand relevant commercial relationships and the context of a recommendation.

Commercial relationships

Affiliate links, paid partnerships and supplied products must be disclosed in the relevant content. Compensation must not require a favourable conclusion. Content about ELVARYXA’s own products or ventures should clearly identify that relationship.

Recommendations, rankings & scores

Explain who a recommendation is intended for and the reasons behind it. Where rankings or scores are used, describe the criteria, scale and comparison context. A “best” label should be limited to a stated purpose and the options assessed.

Updates & corrections

Meaningful changes to prices, features or evidence may require an updated assessment. Confirmed factual errors should be corrected, with a dated explanation where the correction materially changes the conclusion. Readers can report issues to contact@elvaryxa.com.
